We had received our Critical Literacy books and Mr Jo's asked us to read the first chapter of the book. I heard the different thing. I thought he asked us to read the whole reading one, that is until page 45 and I read it. It was a very difficult article. Lots of words that need me to look up on dictionary. I can hrdly understand some of the terms and sentences in the article too. I quit reading many times, so it took me quite a while to finish the reading. On the night before Mr. Jo's class that I found out that I only need to read until page 15 only. But, on the bright side, next time I don't need to read it again. Or, maybe I do need to read it since I only understand few parts of the article. However, Mr. Jo's class do excite me. I don't feel too sleepy in his class since he is not a very strict lecturer. We actually do have laughing in the classroom. Mr. Jo can also interact perfectly with the students. Mr. Jo gave us a homework to do. In pair, of course. It's a quite tough homework, since it is a tough subject. But my partner, Yusma and I do think that we have done a great job. Besides, I really need to do great in this subject in order to raise my pointer since it drop every semester. But what really cheer me is the article on "convicted killer back at work". The first glance on the article and I sw the picture of a sweet, motherlook nurse but after read the article then i learned that she was a convicted killer. although she said she is innocent, but the bias writer make me, and I'm sure other readers also doubt her guiltyness. So, is she really guilty, or not??

First week learning Critical Literacy..
I've heard about this subject from my seniors before and they all said the same thing about Critical Literacy. It's very difficult. I wonder how difficult it was. forst class of Critical Literacy was in 16 January 2008 with Mr Johari. During first calss, he taught us generally about this subject. From that, added with my seniors view, I think this must be difficult to get an A. However, I will try my best to score great grade.
